Hey there everybody. My name is Charles Mosito and I live in Southern California. Let me just get started by saying that I love travelling. Nothing makes me feel more alive than that rush of embarking on a flight to somewhere else. The pressure you feel when checking in your bags… “Did I remember to bring this? Do I have that document?” I can’t really explain why this particular type of stress is so appealing to me, but I just can’t get enough of it.
I’ve been all over the continental United States and lived in South America for a few years. I miss it, you know? The charm of different places and cultures… In fact I’d go so far as to say that I love people who don’t speak English as a first language. Even better, the most charming folks to me are those who don’t speak it at all! Especially when it comes to women, I find it especially attractive.
I’ve been to almost every historical site in the United States, from forts to battlefields. When I was a kid, m dad used to take me all over the place. My parents split when I was very young, and he always compensated for the time that we couldn’t spend together by taking me to fascinating places. We went spelunking in caves, participated in amazing re-enactments of battles, and probably ate in every Cracker Barrel in existence. We used to play a game where we would count all the cracker barrels along our trip, I think the most we ever counted was 47.
Here’s a song that reminds me of the old man every time it plays, I think it’s to him that I owe my wanderlust…
